Where Heddle started
Heddle started in the middle of other work. We'd spent years building operational software for businesses one custom project at a time. Each project ended the same way: the owner wanted the integrated experience big companies pay for, and the budget for a custom build wasn't there.
The pattern kept repeating: a store on one platform, a booking link on another, payments in a third app, and a spreadsheet holding it together. Every tool worked on its own, but none of them talked, so the owner became the glue, copying numbers between apps by hand. Heddle pulls the whole operation into one place, so the store, bookings, payments, and numbers finally live together, built for how independent businesses run.
Why we're building Heddle
Heddle comes out of years spent building operational software and AI tooling as custom work for individual businesses. It's that work, productized and brought to the small businesses that could never afford a custom build.

We're moving deliberately. Rather than launch a half-done version of everything, we ship one part of the loop at a time. The first pieces are your storefront and checkout. Delivery, bookings, and analytics are layering in as merchants ask for them.
